My name is Jim Poppenhouse and I'll admit that the first time I ever heard of pressure washing or soft washing a home was in 1997. A coworker came to work limping one day and while he wasn't moving around all that great, he told me that he still needed to take care of some customers that he did pressure washing for on the weekends. So, I volunteered to help him for free and once I tried it, I was hooked. I'm used to working with power equipment and heavy equipment but I thoroughly enjoyed this. But, the problem was that he wasn't the greatest, he had no training and only cleaned with water and high pressure. I also witnessed occassions where his customers weren't always happy with his work because they often couldn't tell that he had actually cleaned something for them.

Even as newbie, I knew that I needed to learn more and it was during my research and quite by chance that I came across a mentor that was rated the best cleaning contractor in the Westchase community of Tampa Bay 5 years in a row. I offered to work for him for free until I learned the trade. Took about 3 months before I felt confident enough to fly solo and began my own foray into the pressure cleaning industry. And that's how I learned about soft washing and pressure washing and how and when to use each of them. I learned how to listen to the surfaces as I cleaned them to know when paint is bad. I learned how to clean peeling paint without damage. I also learned how to clean tile and shingle roofs with a low pressure application and why chemical cleaning is superior to pressure washing roof tiles and shingles. I learned about the different chemicals and cleaning agents and how to use them on stains that pressure washing or soft washing could not remove. I also learned how clean and seal pavers, paint pool decks and commercial cleaning of office buildings and restaurants. Some home and restaurant owners have been with me for more than 18 years.

Our #1 goal is to is to do such a good job that you never want to call anyone else and #2, clean your property so well that no one can come behind us and clean it any better. And to be honest, the only way that I can guarantee that is by doing it myself. Years ago, one of my customers was a business manager that wanted to give me some advice on growing my business. The first thing he said was, if I was going to hire someone, I was going to have to lower my standards because no one will ever do as good a job as I do. Sadly, he was right. And that is why I work alone. I believe I have 100% customer satisfaction because there is no one else to blame.

I also believe this is the reason we have an A+ rating with the BBB and have won numerous Super Service Awards from Angies List through the years. We even won "Cleanest Drivethrus In Pinellas County" with one of our restaurant chains. And we've been listed as the best cleaning contractor in the Tampa Bay area several years in a row on Angies List before they were bought out by Home Advisor.

Since 1998, we've been helping residents, property managers, realtors, office managers, local businesses and schools clean and maintain their properties in the Oldsmar, Palm Harbor, Odessa, Lutz, Safety Harbor, EastLake, Lansbrook, Westchase, Waterchase, Dunedin and Clearwater areas of Tampa Bay area. We treat our customers just like family because I do not forget for a moment that my customers have taken care of me through the years and I absolutely appreciate their loyalty. I always try to do something extra for them to show my appreciation, especially, the older they get because I know it's not easy to take care of their homes. Such as cleaning their patio furniture and cushions. Or removing smoke stains from the walls of their outdoor grills. Even removing rust stains from their pool decks and driveways at no charge.
