Windows and doors can be tricky to clean. They are known for leaks and cracks, so very low pressure should be used during the cleaning and rinsing. Anytime you have mold, you want to kill the mold first because pressure washing by itself doesn't kill mold. If you just start pressure washing to blast away the mold first, you will actually be atomizing the mold into small airborne particles and dispersing it all over your property. *Whenever you are pressure washing mold, make sure you wear a mask to avoid inhaling the mold spores and particles. I had one customer that inhaled some black mold and it took him over 6 months of constant doctor visits to get rid of the mold that began growing in his lungs.

This customer was worried that she would have to repaint once we finished, but as you can see, we were able to save her paint. When areas like these need special attention, its important to have the patience to do it right. You might even have to clean it more than once. Most of the time, areas like this require using a brush that can get into the corners and crevices to break loose and remove the mold.
